Playtech announced today that Fortuna Entertainment Group has completed the migration of its sportsbook in Slovakia onto the omni-channel gambling technology provider’s IMS platform.
The gambling operator is next looking to complete the migration of its betting operations in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Croatia, it also became known.
Today’s announcement marks the latest stage in the ever-expanding partnership between Playtech and Fortuna for the provision of omni-channel gambling services in Central and Eastern Europe.
The recently completed integration enables Fortuna to utilize Playtech’s Engagement center and responsible gambling tools across its omni-channel offering in Slovakia. This allows for enhanced customer experience and real time engagement, among other benefits.
The integration will expand into Fortuna’s casino offering, once the necessary licensing process is complete, Playtech said today in a press release on its official website. This will provide the operator with the opportunity to harness the provider’s casino games suite and extensive collection of third-party content across the platform.
Through Playtech’s front-end portal framework, Fortuna will be able to integrate and personalize content with the help of data-driven customization tools.
Of their partnership with Playtech, Fortuna CEO Per Widerstrom said that it is central to their growth plans and success. The migration onto Playtech’s platform represents “the next stage in Fortuna’s omni-channel leadership in Central and Eastern Europe” and customers of the operator “can now enjoy a sophisticated and seamless user experience,” the gambling executive added.
Mr. Widerstrom further explained that utilizing Playtech’s technology will enable his company’s customers to take advantage of improved experience through real-time messaging and engagement and will enhance Fortuna’s capabilities to provide its products and services in a socially responsible manner.
Leveraging the Power of Playtech ONE
Playtech COO Shimon Akad commented that they are proud to have aligned with one of “the foremost operators in Europe” that has demonstrated highly impressive and “continued growth trajectory.”
Mr. Akad added that their partnership with the gambling operator “firmly leverages the power of the Playtech ONE solution, both from a marketing and player tracking perspective.”
Playtech and Fortuna first announced their partnership in August 2016. Under the terms of that original deal, Playtech agreed to power Fortuna’s online casino and retail and online sports betting operations, and provide CRM services to the gambling operator.
As a result from the constantly expanding relationship between the two companies, Playtech now services Fortuna and supports its presence in the regulated markets of the Czech Republic, Romania, Poland, and Slovakia. Highlights of the partnership include the launch of the first online casino under the Czech Republic’s new gambling regime which took effect in 2017.
Playtech and Fortuna announced late last year that the gambling operator has agreed to utilize the provider’s IMS player management platform across its operations in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, and Croatia.
