A few days after one of the busiest events on the iGaming calendar wrapped up with a bang, Paddy Power Betfair and MGA Games announced today that they have penned a content supply deal namely during the latest edition of the SiGMA iGaming Show in Malta.
Under the terms of the deal the major Irish online gambling operator will be able to launch titles by the Spanish content studio. The roll-out of MGA Games across Paddy Power Betfair’s platform is expected to take place in the very near future.
The agreement with the gambling giant represented another milestone in a year of a “meteoric rise” enjoyed by MGA Games. The company attributed its success over the past year to its Spanish Celebrities and Hyperrealism slots series.
MGA Games’ General Manager José Antonio Giacomelli revealed that they managed to sign agreements with seven international online gambling operators, the names of which he said he could not unveil yet, during the SiGMA event this year. The official only teased that three of these operators have been authorized to start operating in Spain in 2020.
Commenting on the upcoming addition of MGA Games content to Paddy Power Betfair, the gambling operator’s Commercial Product Manager Jack Dinan said that the provider’s “excellent quality, coupled with their innate knowledge of the Spanish market, provide the perfect platform to build a long-lasting relationship between the businesses, and a compelling offering to our customers.”
Proud to Team Up with “Unparalleled Gaming Giant”
Of their commercial deal with Paddy Power Betfair, Mr. Giacomelli said that they are proud to join forces with “such an unparalleled gaming giant” and that they are looking forward to working with the Irish operator.
The MGA Games boss added that what was the sixth edition of SiGMA “could not have worked better for us.”
Headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, MGA Games is part of Grupo MGA, which was founded all the way back in 1976. The larger company was the creator of Spain’s first slot machine and played an instrumental role in the establishment of the country’s first Family Entertainment Centers and Electronic Casinos.
The group launched MGA Games in 2001 as its new technology division. MGA Games was tasked with developing, publishing, and supplying innovative, high-quality online slots that “capture the attention of users and national and international operators.”
Although MGA Games is focusing on Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets, its content can be found in other jurisdictions, as well.
Most recently, the games provider debuted its Josef Ajram Epic Broker slot, starring Spanish-Syrian stock trader, businessman, and endurance athlete. The 5-reel slot is part of MGA Games’ Hyperrealism series. The title features three mini-games, each offering the thrill of the fascinating world of stock trading.
